Film just FEELS different. This wedding was photographed on 35mm film just outside of Denver, and the light, the red rocks, and the overall atmosphere made it the perfect setting for it.

As a Denver film wedding photographer, I am drawn to weddings that feel relaxed and real. Film slows everything down. It allows moments to unfold naturally and keeps the focus on connection.

This wedding took place at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado. It is one of those locations that truly takes your breath away. The landscape, the tones, and the way the light hits the rocks all translate beautifully on film.

And as a Colorado film wedding photographer, I photograph weddings across the state. Locations like this are exactly why film works so well here. The colors stay true. The highlights feel soft. Every image has a depth that is hard to recreate digitally.

Film has been part of my life since childhood. I grew up developing film with my dad. There has always been something magical about it. The way an image slowly comes to life, the anticipation, the imperfection.

Seeing film come back has brought that feeling with it. It has reconnected me to my creativity and reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
