This gorgeous winter Sapphire Point engagement took place at the beginning of April. We actually had to reschedule because temperatures were below zero for over a week! Finally we were able to pick a day that was at least around 30 degrees haha! Kenzie + Patrick just moved to Colorado from a warm sunny state, so they wanted their photos to have that Colorado mountain vibe. Which I think we totally accomplished!

Sapphire Point sits right on the edge of Dillon Reservoir at 9500 feet elevation. So, you’ve got this breathtaking panorama of snow-capped mountains all around you. Seriously, it’s like something out of a postcard. And in the winter, when everything’s dusted with a fresh layer of snow, it’s even more magical.

Not a hiker? Not a problem! Sapphire Point is also super accessible, which is a huge plus. You just drive up there, park your car, and boom, you’re surrounded by mother nature’s beauty.
