Anna + Zach came to Colorado to celebrate their Anniversary all the way from New York! The session took place the same time the Cameron Peak Fire was spreading throughout Colorado. Originally, we were going to do the session in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our Plan B was then to go to Boulder and then our Plan C was Loveland Pass. In the span of 24 hours, Rocky Mountain National Park and Boulder were under evacuation orders from the fires. So, we landed on Loveland Pass! Which I am so glad we did. Because LOOK AT THIS PLACE!! It is absolutely breathtaking and away from any crowds. Not to mention, this session had one of the most magical sunsets I’ve ever seen.
Loveland Pass is one of my favorite places in Colorado. It is the highest mountain pass that stays open even in winter months (I don’t recommend coming in winter weather tho, as the road can be dangerous!). But it is one of the few places where you have 360 degree views of mountains. If you are looking for a Loveland Pass Photographer, get in touch today and let’s start planning your dream day!
